We, along with Aiden's dad decided that we should let Aiden give Karate a try after he went to a karate birthday party and loved it.
He had to go in for "testing" to see if he would obey well enough to be in class with the other kids and if he would even like it. It took three tries but he is now enrolled in karate.
He had to tell the teacher the 3 rules of karate
1-obey your parents
2-do your chores
3-no fighting or hitting
then he had to tell her the seven magic words
1-yes, ma'am
2-no, ma'am
3-yes, sir
4-no, sir
5-please
6-thank you
7-your welcome
He recited this to her flawlessly and did exactly what she asked when she asked which was a 180 degree turn around from the first two time when he was too shy, YES I SAID SHY, to do anything.
I am so proud of him and can't wait to see his focus improve along with his respectful manner.
He is growing up way too fast. Yesterday he read some of a book to me!!! i can't even handle it!
